And Eat it Too!

Since February, my friend Molly and I have been producing a bi-weekly podcast called And Eat it Too!. I’m not quite sure how it came about, but I vaguely remember a conversation over a glass of Cab Sav that led to me ordering mics off Amazon and we just ran with it. 2015 is supposedly the Year of the Podcast; we are living in a post-Serial world where everyone with a microphone now thinks they have something to say. And while I’m not sure we are saying anything groundbreaking or profound, we sure have a fun time chewing the fat every week in Molly’s dining room.

And they’re all about food, of course! Each episode centers around a food idiom - think: ‘you can’t have your cake and eat it too,’ or ‘the world is your oyster’ - and, after a brief lesson on history and meaning, we devolve into general storytelling and rumination on the food in question. Bacon-based recipes for bringing home the bacon, the geoduck song for happy as a clam, you get the idea.

We normally post every other Friday, but this week we will air a SPECIAL EPISODE where Molly and I are joined by the co-hosts of another food podcast, SPILLED MILK. (!) Molly Wizenberg and Matthew Amster-Burton have been producing their show for 5+ years and have been a tremendous help in getting And Eat it Too! launched. Tune in as the four of us debate the greatest invention since sliced bread. I would tell you what we decided upon, but I don't want to spill the beans...

So in case you miss me terribly, you can now pipe me straight into your living room every other week, and maybe even learn something in the process! Subscribe on iTunes or stream from our website
